As a mother advocating for her adopted children, she encountered the barriers many families face when seeking mental health care — months-long waitlists, limited in-network options, and a lack of providers trained in trauma-informed and adoption-sensitive care.

In the midst of that struggle, she made a decision: to become the provider she once needed.

Today, as a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over sixteen years of nursing experience, Heather blends advanced clinical training with a deep understanding of the realities families face. Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in both science and compassion.
